Spacious decks are perfect for enjoying sundowners overlooking the river and the camp’s rim-flow swimming pool provides a view of the seasonal hippo pools below. Meals can be enjoyed in a variety of dining areas and traditional fires known as jikos produce mouth-watering aromas. The sounds of the African night provides a gentle backdrop to tales of the day’s safaris. Game drives from the camp can expect to encounter large lion prides and clans of hyena, big herds of resident plains game and black and white colobus monkeys, found nowhere else in the Serengeti.

The family suite is connected by an enclosed walkway, which allows easy access between the tents while maintaining complete privacy. Each tent has its own ensuite bathroom and a private veranda. The family suite can accommodate two adults and two children (three children can be provided for on special request).
Whimsical interiors provide quirky touches that emphasise the natural beauty of the setting. All ten of the tented suites feature shaded private decks that look out onto the Grumeti River and its resident hippo. Stone shower towers are open to the sun and stars.
