Fernkloof Nature Reserve has a 60-kilometre network of trails, varying from gentle ambles to strenuous hikes, all showcasing the spectacular views of Hermanus and the vast sweep of Walker Bay. More than 1,250 species of plant species, including several unique floral wonders, are there to enjoy.

For a more challenging excursion, hike the 12-kilometre Zig Zag Trail from Birkenhead House to Fernkloof, and you won’t be disappointed.
