Chitabe Camp is situated in a private concession area on an island in the south-east of the Okavango Delta. Playing host to a breathtaking mosaic of wooded, wetland and grassland habitats, the area is famed for its incredible numbers and diversity of wildlife, in particular predators.

Dotted along the forested riverbanks, Time + Tide Chongwe Camp is surrounded by wild beauty. Set at the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers against a beautiful mountainous backdrop, the camp has the best views in the Lower Zambezi. Sit outside your tent, listening to playful vervet monkeys scampering in the winterthorn trees overhead. Iganyana Tented Camp is situated on a private concession just minutes from Hwange airport and Hwange National Park. Hwange National Park has among the highest diversity of animals of any national park in the world. There are more than 100 species of mammals here, including all of the Big Five, as well as over 400 species of birds. We’re also right around the corner from the African Painted Dog Conservation Centre. Iganyana Tucked into a teak forest, our African Luxury Tented Camp looks out over the wide, open grass plain of a long-dry riverbed. This is, in fact, a highway of sorts. However, the only traffic on it is wildlife on their daily commute between waterholes – one of which is directly in front of Iganyana Tented Camp. Tented camp is easy to get to. Akagera comprises some of the most scenic savannah in East Africa – open plains, woodlands, lakes, swamp, and grassy low mountains – and is home to one of Africa’s highest hippo densities, some very large crocodiles as well as the rare sitatunga and more than 520 bird species. Teeming with plains game, Akagera now also boasts a healthy population of lion, which were reintroduced into the park in 2015 after a 20-year absence, as well as black rhino which were reintroduced in 2017. Magashi – the only exclusive-use area in Akagera – also harbours a good density of leopard.

Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge is situated on a riverine fringe of the mighty Zambezi River where Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and Namibia converge. Located 70 kilometers west of Victoria Falls, access is by transfer from Victoria Falls, Livingstone or Kasane. Imbabala offers the chance to unwind but also some of the most amazing game viewing and bird watching in the region, in the seclusn of a private National Parks concession.

Zambezi River Safaris All guests at Imbabala can go on either morning or afternoon Zambezi River Safaris on the pontoon boat. Often being treated to the sight of wildlife at the water’s edge and water-loving birdlife, this is a popular activity and also often provides incredible African Zambezi sunset photo opportunities. Drinks and snacks are provided and your guide reveals some of the Zambezi’s natural beauty as you cruise the river, often seeing some of the smaller inhabitants. Elephant often swim from the mainland onto the many islands to feed there and are seen crossing or feeding on the islands. Hippo are also common here and are usually seen while on the water.

Game drives go out daily from Imbabala. Guests can choose a morning, afternoon or night drive to get their fill of the wonderful game viewing that is available here. All drives are conducted in open-backed 4×4 vehicles that are suited to the terrain and are perfect to afford the best views of the game. Guests will enjoy either morning tea, coffee & snacks or evening drinks & snacks depending on which drive they are on.

Walking Safari Imbabala offers guests the chance to experience a walking safari. Your professional guide will show you some of the large and small wildlife of our private concession area, highlighting species that might get missed if on a drive. Zambezi Fishing and Birding Imbabala is the only fishing, birding and photographic lodge on this 14km section of the Zambezi river. Imbabala has for many years produced excellent angling for the legendary tigerfish, which is rated as one of the best fighting fresh water fish in the world.

Imbabala is the only fishing and photographic lodge on this 14km section of the Zambezi river and has near exclusivity of the Zambezi between the Katombora rapids and the Botswana/Namibian borders. Imbabala has for many years produced excellent angling for the legendary tigerfish, which is rated as one of the best fighting fresh water fish in the world, a reputation it fully deserves. One of the attractions lies in the fact that only around 30 % of those hooked are ever landed. The majority of tigers caught range between 2 – 6 lb. but fish of double-figures are not uncommon in these waters and each season specimens of between 10 and 18 lb. are landed.

Walking Safari ventures into the Zambezi National Park and follow in the footsteps of elephants; learn about the wildlife from your Professional Guide. A walking safari through the wilderness is one of the best ways to feel close to nature and to re-tune your senses.The walks at Imbabala usually last for 3 hours and guests will normally walk for about 5km during that time. Venturing into the unfenced 57 000 hectare Zambezi National Park, this walk is combined with a game drive to a suitable walking area of the park. Stretching upstream from the Victoria Falls for some 50 kilometres, the scenic Park offers riverside game viewing along the Zambezi, with pristine wilderness, and abundant wildlife. Whilst following in the footsteps of elephants, guests are able to learn about a variety of aspects of the wildlife in the area. Their Professional Guide will share his/her knowledge and experiences with them. A walk through the bush in a great way to re-tune your senses and get a ground level experience of the parks inhabitants, large or small. Excludes Park Entry Fee which is currently US$15.00
