All the main and public areas of the camp have been extensively refurbished in a 'safari chic' style including a newly designed bar and library area, the extension of the dining room and the addition of a pizza deck with pizza oven. A new orientation room where guests can learn more about the Delta before going on game drives has been added as well as a gym and kids play room.

Your African experience starts with a twenty minute light aircraft transfer from Maun over the south-western Delta,

Saguni Safari Lodge is situated in Moremi East in the Okavango Delta. It is nestled in an island of mature riparian trees, typical of the Okavango Delta. The Lodge overlooks the ‘Mbudi Lagoon’, in the beautiful game-rich area of Khwai. The name ‘Saguni’ is a bushman name for Khwai, meaning “an area with abundance of game and spectacular sights”.
The Camps accommodation consists of 8 Luxury River Tents and 9 Forest Tents. The tents are spacious and furnished in a classic style ensuring that time between activities is spent relaxing comfortably.
The Lodge offers open vehicle photographic safaris and walking safaris. Besides the day-time game drives, which can feature Africa’s big attractions – lion, cheetah, leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, hippo and giraffe, there is also the option to experience a night drive. Cultural visits and mokoro excursions are all available at Saguni.

No mokoro and walking activities for children 11yrs and younger.
Through the provision of high quality guiding services and new custom made boats Moremi Crossing offers a more personalized
wildlife experience. Activities on offer are half or full day mokoro trips with game walks, bush walks with picnic lunch, wilderness camping and sunset motorboat cruises.
Game walks are conducted on Chief’s Island where you may come across numerous animal species not to mention our wide
selection of birds and insects.
For the more adventurous we offer wilderness camping. This involves packing up a mokoro with camping equipment and going with a professional guide out into the Delta for a night or two.
For the less energetic there are boat cruises up and down the Boro River or you can take advantage of the relaxed atmosphere of the camp and its facilities. Moremi Crossing combines simplicity with luxury and is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature at
its best.
Game which has been spotted on walks has been Lion, Leopard, Wild dog, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Buffalo, Red Lechwe and many more. On the mokoro’s you get to see the water birds like African Jacana’s, African Fish eagles and if you look carefully you will see the Malachite Kingfishers darting between the reeds, there is also a chance that your guide will find the rare Pel’s Fishing owl.

Become part of the bustling river life by easing between the papyrus clad banks on traditional 'mokoro' canoes. These are propelled from the stern by skilled 'poler' guides, allowing the guests to sit back and absorb the scenery. For full day trips, Gunn's Camp prepares delicious picnic lunches which can be enjoyed on a Delta island after an exhilarating bush walk.
A great way to explore the crystal clear channels of the Boro River. Motor-boat cruises are organised in time to toast the unprecedented African sunsets while drifting on a lagoon in the middle of the Okavango Delta. Watch as the mutating colours are reflected in the smooth waters, disturbed only by dipping swallows or curious hippos.
