Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is the only 4-star private lodge in the Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park, providing guests with exclusive luxury and outstanding service within one of South Africa’s flagship national parks. Since the lodge is situated within the park, there’s no need to waste precious time driving to the reserve; your game drive starts from the front door. Park is home to all of the Big 5, and the world’s densest white rhino population. It’s also one of the best places to see the African wild dog, one of the continent’s most endangered large carnivores.
Transfer
Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is the only private lodge situated inside the Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park. Lodge is situated on the western boundary in the private concession within Africa’s oldest proclaimed Game Reserve Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park, Northern KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Set in a 96 000 hectare park Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge enables guests to enjoy 4 star luxury at a private lodge for the first time within the park, offering spectacular scenery and excellent safari opportunities within the heart of Big 5 territory.
Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge offers both early morning and afternoon/evening game drives in specially adapted open game viewing vehicles, with professional guides (max 9 people per vehicle). In addition to driving on our private concession within the Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park we also have unlimited access to the greater Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park where you have the opportunity to spot the Big 5.
Early morning tea/coffee are served on the deck before setting off on your morning drive. Another refreshment stop is made during the morning drive after which you return to the lodge to enjoy a breakfast.
High tea is served in the early afternoon after which guests can enjoy an afternoon game drive with a sundowner break.
* children of all ages are welcomed at the lodge, families with children under the age of 6 years cannot accompany other guests on game drives. They may either book a private game drive vehicle or request a baby sitter for the duration of the game drive.
