Sunset river safari on the Chobe River. A herd of elephants crossing the river in the rays of the setting sun, leisurely swimming hippos, calm expanse of water and silence, only occasionally broken by the cry of flying birds or the roar of a wild beast, will add a special charm to the cruise.

4x4 safari in Chobe National Park - the second largest in Botswana. A rare opportunity to see a large number of wild animals in a short time. Whale Cruise

The main tourist trump card of Hermanus is the status of the world capital of whales. Every year, dozens of these huge mammals come here to Walker Bay to give birth to their cubs. It takes place between July and December. The whales come very close to the shore (only 15-20 m before swimming), and you can watch them from special viewing platforms on the coastal cliffs. At the moment when the whale comes closest to the shore, a special "whale sentinel" shouts into the mouthpiece to get everyone ready for this exciting spectacle. The World Wide Fund for Nature considers Hermanus one of the 12 best places in the world for whale watching: on some days, more than 20 whales can be observed in the bay at the same time. The ticket for the cruise is purchased locally depending on the weather.
