Yes, Namibias borders are open, and the country welcomes visitors. Windhoek and Walvis Bay airports are open for international flights. Russian citizens are allowed visa-free stays in Namibia for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

Currently, according to the current legislation of the Republic of Namibia, when importing/exporting currency in the amount of over 1,000,000 US dollars (approximately 9 thousand US dollars), the said funds must be declared.

Geographical location

Namibia is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The countrys name derives from the Namib Desert (the oldest desert in the world), which occupies a significant portion of the country. The capital is Windhoek.

Fishing in Namibia is great year-round, but the best months are September through April. All necessary equipment and bait will be provided during your fishing trip. Shark fishing is perhaps the most adrenaline-pumping fishing in Namibia. Your potential trophy fish can weigh up to 150 kg. Fishing is generally conducted using catch-and-release rules, meaning the caught fish are released back into the ocean.
