Labotessa Luxury Boutique Hotel is a premium boutique hotel located in the heart of Cape Town, on historic Church Square. It occupies a 17th-century building, restored with respect for its heritage but with contemporary style and comfort.
Each room is equipped with premium amenities: private elevator access, designer toiletries, a minibar, a sitting area, and yoga mats.
Spacious rooms, each like a private city apartment with its own elevator, cozy living area, and designer finishes. Diptyque in the bathroom, soft robes, a minibar, and music—everything has been thought through to the smallest detail.
You'll step out of your room into a maze of cobbled streets, historic buildings, and the bustling city center: just a few minutes and you're on Long Street, near Kaapstad's galleries and restaurants, and at the V&A Waterfront.
Accommodation: Labotessa, breakfast included.
Today you'll embark on a journey to the southernmost tip of the earth. You'll drive along Chapman's Peak, one of the most spectacular roads in South Africa.
The first stop is the town of Hout Bay, a quiet haven for fishermen and artists. From here, a boat departs for Dwiker Island, home to South African fur seals. This tiny speck of land is a natural reserve where you can observe hundreds of animals in their natural habitat.
The route then leads to the southwesternmost point of Africa—the Cape of Good Hope. Within the national park, an ancient lighthouse remains, offering views of the ocean to the horizon, beyond which lies nothing but Antarctica.
Standing at the top of the Cape, don't forget to make a wish—it's sure to come true.
A network of hiking trails leads to wild beaches and picturesque panoramas. The reserve is home to ostriches, antelopes, zebras, and, of course, the famous baboons.
There's a restaurant on the Cape where you can dine on fresh seafood with an ocean view.
The day ends at Boulders Beach. This is home to a colony of South African penguins—the only species to nest on the continent. The penguins nest among the granite boulders and shrubs within the city limits of Simonstown, where they enjoy strolling the streets.
They're accustomed to people, so you can observe them from within arm's reach. You can also swim with them, but only if you're not afraid of cold water.
After a busy day in nature, return to the hotel. Relax.
Accommodation: Labotessa, breakfast included.
During the tour you will discover three aspects of Cape Town:
- natural: climbing Table Mountain, the symbol of Cape Town, panoramas from a birds eye view.
- historical:
Founded in 1652 as a transit point for the Dutch East India Company, Cape Town became the gateway to southern Africa and bears the marks of various eras. Here, history is not frozen in museums, but lives right on the streets.
- cultural (Bo-Kaap, Victoria and Alfred Waterfront)
Youll stroll through the Company Gardens, once used to grow vegetables for Dutch ships and now home to the Parliament building. Youll also explore the Bo-Kaap, a vibrant neighborhood with colorful houses formed by a community of Malay slaves. Squares, monuments, cathedrals, and museums will reveal pages of South Africas fascinating history.
For lovers of art and unique architecture, we recommend visiting the Zeitz MOCAA Museum—the continents largest museum of contemporary art. It has become a symbol of Cape Towns cultural renewal. And for those who want to get closer to nature, we recommend visiting the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
17-00 Return to the hotel.
