Cape Town tour with a Russian-speaking guide.
Cape Town is called the Mother City because it is where South Africas colonial history began. Youll drive through the historic city center, see the first building built by Europeans in southern Africa, and visit the colorful Malay quarter of Bo-Kaap. If possible, visit Table Mountain, which you can reach by cable car (depending on weather conditions, the cable car ticket is pay-as-you-go).
Transfer to Walker Bay.
As you approach the lodge, open the window, take a deep breath, and youll smell the intoxicating aromas of eucalyptus and wild rosemary. Forest Lodge is located in Walkers Bay, between Gansbaai and Hermanus. Words fail to capture the shades of green, blue, and gray, thanks to the dense carpet of plants that cover the area around the lodge. Relax on the terrace of your room and enjoy the views of the sand dunes and shimmering ocean. To maximize your enjoyment of the surrounding views, the rooms feature floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows.
Accommodation at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, full board
Two days of relaxation and whale watching.
Grootbos is a stunningly diverse area of vegetation, characteristic of the Western Cape. In spring, this place is associated with blossoming flowers, but a stop here also offers the opportunity to observe the sea giants—southern right whales—or explore the rocky coastline and Klipgate Cave (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), where evidence of Mesolithic habitation has been found.
The lodges philosophy is privacy. Noisy tour groups stay here; its a haven of peace. Frequent guests include newlyweds and National Geographic photographers.
