  • Cape Town Day 4 23.09

    Flight to Cape Town

    Morning walking safari.

    Cape Town is called “Mother City” - “Mother of African Cities,” because it is from here that the colonial history of South Africa begins. Here you will learn the most interesting facts about apartheid politics and get acquainted with the multinational South Africa. We will drive through the historical center of the city, the famous Aderli street with its many monuments, see an ancient fortress, the first building built by Europeans in southern Africa.

    Cape of Good Hope

    Departure to the Cape of Good Hope. On the Cape Peninsula there is a reserve of Good Hope - the southern tip of the peninsula. From two hundred meters high, standing at the ancient lighthouse, you can see how the waters of the Indian and Atlantic oceans converge on the horizon.

    Penguin kayaking is a fascinating voyage in the warm waters of Falls Bay on very stable twin guided kayaks. No experience is required, any able-bodied person will cope with rowing. The best way to watch a penguin colony is from the water. As a rule, we will meet Cape fur seals on our way. We can stay on the beach, or swim right from the kayaks and watch the penguins on the rocks nearby.
    You can see whales in the “whale” season. (duration 1.5 hours)

    Return to Cape Town.

The reserve, of course, is famous for watching whales, but the landscape itself is just as magnificent. This area is part of the Cape Flower Kingdom, classified as a World Heritage Site, and wherever you turn you will find all kinds of plants, flowers and ecosystems. In fact, 12 of these species are not found anywhere else in the world! And throughout the wild beaches and meadows, there is a secluded lodge where you spend two unforgettable nights.

    Whales and wild beaches of De Hope Nature Reserve

    De Hoop is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful coastal reserves in Africa with extraordinary beauty and blissful solitude. The reserve is famous as one of the best places to observe whales on the planet, when from July to November hundreds of South whales and their offspring from Antarctica flock here. But not only whales swim here, you will also notice large flocks of dolphins and other marine life during your land safari .

    Lekkerwater (literally means "place of good water") offers a homely and comfortable beach holiday in a magical setting. Each of the seven rooms is located right on the six-kilometer stretch of a private beach with stunning stone pools.   • Vineyards Day 8 27.09


    Departure to the Valley of Vineyards. Delicious wine, delicious food, colonial history and stunning views - these words can express the essence of a trip through the vineyards of Western Cape.

    A parade of ducks awaits you in the Vergenoeg vineyards. A visit to Stellenbosch, the second oldest after Cape Town. The city is designed in the Cape Dutch style. Here I want to wander the streets and plunge into the era of the 19th, beginning of the 20th century.

    Transfer to Franchuk, accommodation at an existing grape farm. Your hotel is a building of the Dutch manor of 1855.     Langaban and Sodeberg

    Excursion to Bird Island in Lambert Bay - the only place on earth where you can observe the nesting of Cape gannets, learn more about their behavior and rituals. Other feathered inhabitants of the island include African penguins, Cape cormorants, and Dominican gulls. On the rocks of the island Cape fur seals bask in the sun.

    On the way, we will see how Roibos tea is grown. Stop in Langaban, where freshly caught langoustines are fried at a sea restaurant right on the beach.

  • Augrabis waterfall. Day 10 29.09

    Moving to Augrabis Waterfall

  • Upington Day 13 02.10

    Departure home

    Walking with a guide. With the first rays of the sun, you will go along with the Bushman trackers for a walk along the dunes. Experienced guides will tell you how to identify animals and birds in their tracks, you will learn interesting facts about trees and plants and their medical applications. The duration of the walk is 1.5 hours.
