    After a walk, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
    Queen Elizabeth Park is a vast area of ​​open expanse of savannah and tropical rain forests, impassable swamps and picturesque crater lakes. Edward Lake is one of the most picturesque in the rift fault chain. Rich in fish, it attracts pelicans, cormorants, gulls, herons, coliises, ibises and many other birds.
    On a scale of biological diversity, this park is rightfully recognized as one of the richest in the world. The animal world is represented by more than 100 species of mammals, including: hippos, lions, buffalos, leopards, spotted hyenas and giant forest boars.
    After lunch, departure for a 2-hour cruise along the Kazinga Canal and Lake Edward.   • Bwindi Day 7

    Moving to Bwindi

    In the morning, leave the lodge, on the road another safari to Ishasha.
    Transfer to Bwindi Mountain Reserve.
    Bwindi Forest is an old, complex, and very rich biosystem. The diversity of species is a feature of the park, due to its ecological significance, it has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Among the East African forests in Bwindi is the richest population of trees, small mammals, reptiles and butterflies.
    The forest is a paradise for bird lovers, more than 300 species live here, including 24 endemic species that can only be seen here.

  • Bunyoni Day 8

    Trekking to the mountain gorillas. Transfer to Lake Bunyoni

    Early rise. A hot breakfast will give you the strength you need to hike to the mountain gorillas.
    At 8 am, check-in at the starting point of the route and meeting with a guide who will lead the group to the gorillas. The road passes through a dense forest, through which sometimes it is necessary to literally cut through thick vines in search of traces of gorillas. It can take from one to five hours to search, so you need to be prepared for good physical activity. In advance, choose comfortable shoes with a good tread for this.

    The result of all efforts will be an unforgettable meeting with the gorillas . Being next to them you will observe the behavior of these amazing creatures, listen to how they communicate with each other, and of course marvel at the huge size of the dominant male, which can be recognized by the silver wool on its back. It is amazing to realize that there are only about 700 individuals of these unique creations in the world!
