Morning meeting with your driver-guide at the airport (if arriving by Qatar or a morning flight from Zanzibar) or your hotel in Arusha (if arriving by Ethiopian the previous day) and departure to Tarangire National Park. Travel time to the park is 2.5 hours.

Park safari. Picnic lunch in the park. Tarangire Park is located in the Maasai Steppe, characterized by rolling hills and swampy lowlands. The Tarangire River, from which the park takes its name, flows through the park.
The park is home to a wide variety of animals. Animals from across the 20,000 square kilometer park flock to the river, including zebras, buffalo, impalas, gazelles, elands, waterbucks, and others.
Departure from the park no later than 4:00 PM and a 2-hour drive to a hotel in Karatu. Dinner.

An early breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and a 7-minute drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. A crater game drive is scheduled from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a picnic lunch on the lakeshore. Descend into the crater for a safari to Ngorongoro, the largest inhabited caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Youll have a chance to observe all of Africas Big Five (lion, elephant, rare black rhinoceros, buffalo, and leopard).

After the safari , transfer to the Serengeti (about 3 hours from the crater exit to the park gates; you can visit a Maasai village). Accommodation at the lodge.

An early breakfast and departure from the lodge around 7:00 a.m. The worlds most famous wildlife refuge and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Serengeti National Park spans approximately 14,763 square kilometers. This unique wildlife sanctuary is renowned for its highest concentration of lowland animals on the continent, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinoceroses.

Transfer – safari to the northern Serengeti to observe the migration. Witness the annual migration of over two million wildebeest and 250,000 zebra as they make their cyclical journey from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara and back.

Picnic lunch. Arrival at the lodge around 5:30 PM. Dinner.

Breakfast and early morning departure for a full-day safari . Picnic lunch in the park. Dinner at the lodge.
The Lobo Hills are covered with large acacia trees, which are home to large numbers of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, buffalos and other carnivores.
This is a unique opportunity to see a large number of Africas most famous animals in a relatively short amount of time.
Youll travel to the Bologna and Vogatende districts, where youll encounter the Mara River. Home to numerous hippos and Nile crocodiles, the Mara River is the last major obstacle standing between the wildebeest migration and the relative safety of the Masai Mara.
Witness the great migration as wildebeest and zebra brave river currents and crocodiles to reach the safety of the opposite bank.

Breakfast. Morning safari en route to the airstrip and departure from the Serengeti to Zanzibar.
