  • Cape Town Day 2

Cape Town Sightseeing Tour and Table Mountain Visit

During this tour, youll discover Cape Town—a city where history isnt frozen in museums, but lives right on the streets. Youll discover its three main aspects: nature, history, and culture.
Founded in 1652 as a transit point for the Dutch East India Company, Cape Town became the gateway to southern Africa and bears traces of different eras: the Fort of Good Hope stands next to the University Square, and the streets are a mix of Cape Dutch houses, Art Deco, and Victorian mansions next to skyscrapers.
Youll climb Table Mountain , stroll through the Company Gardens, once used to grow vegetables for Dutch ships and now home to the Parliament building, and explore the Bo-Kaap , a vibrant neighborhood with colorful houses. Squares, monuments, cathedrals, and museums will reveal pages of South Africas fascinating history.
For lovers of art and unique architecture, we recommend visiting the Zeitz MOCAA Museum —the continents largest museum of contemporary art. It has become a symbol of Cape Towns cultural renewal. And for those who want to get closer to nature, we recommend visiting the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Accommodation : One Only, Marina Mountain View, breakfast included
