Arrival in Cape Town

Arrival in Cape Town.
Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel in Cape Town.
The Labotess Hotel is located on historic Church Square, a convenient base for exploring the city center. After your flight, relax with a leisurely stroll along the Victoria Alfred Waterfront and a sunset cruise.

Cape Town: Explore the City with a Guide

A full day in the city: Table Mountain, Companys Garden, Bo-Kaap, and the VA Waterfront. The route can be tailored to the weather—its especially important to leave some flexibility for ascending Table Mountain on foot or by cable car.
Optional helicopter flight or paragliding with an instructor.

Cape Town, South Africa Day 3

Cape Town → Cape of Good Hope → Glencairn (≈ 120–140 km)

Car delivery to your hotel. Departing from Cape Town, enjoy a beautiful self-drive along the Atlantic: Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Chapmans Peak, Cape Point, and the Cape of Good Hope. We finish the day in Glencairn, near Simons Town, in the south of the peninsula.
Optional freediving in Hout Bay.

Simons Town and False Bay (≈ 25–45 km)

A relaxed introduction to False Bay: historic Simons Town, the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach, Kalk Bay, and coastal cafes. Kayaking, boat trips, or surfing lessons are available.

Moving to the Cape Winelands

A scenic drive to verdant wine valleys. After checking into Boschendal, enjoy a stroll through the historic farm and a relaxing evening.

Franschhoek Winelands (≈ 30–60 km)

A day to explore Franschhoek and the surrounding wineries. Beautiful mountain valleys, historic estates, gastronomy, and wine tastings make this area ideal for a leisurely self-drive—as long as the driver is alcohol-free.

Relaxing among the vineyards

A completely relaxing day on the farm: walks, bike trails, tastings, restaurants, gardens, and relaxing among the vineyards. If youre feeling active, head to Hermanus for whale watching.

Cederberg South Africa Day 8

Boschendal → Clanwilliam / Cederberg (≈ 230 km)

Travel from the ocean lagoon to the Cederberg Mountains. As you travel further, the landscape becomes drier and more dramatic; Cederberg Ridge is located at the foot of the mountain range.

Cederberg

A full day among the mountains and unusual rock formations. Choose from a nature drive, a hike, a tour of Bushmen rock paintings, or a rooibos experience—the region is home to South Africas famous rooibos.

West Coast National Park ЮАР Day 10

Glencairn → Churchhaven / West Coast National Park (≈ 170–190 км)

Driving to the west coast. After entering West Coast National Park, the road becomes part of the experience: Langabana Lagoon, fynbos, birds, and a complete sense of remoteness from civilization.

West Coast National Park ЮАР Day 11

West Coast National Park (≈ 20–60 км)

A leisurely day by the lagoon: walks, beaches, birdwatching, kayaking or SUPing (if conditions are right), and kite surfing if desired. During spring flower season, its worth taking time to admire the parks blooming landscapes and the Postberg section, if open (until the end of September).
